How Much will Each Fighter Earn?
While originally presumed that Mayweather will earn $100 million and Conor Mcgregor will get substantially less, it seems to now be believed that both fighters will be reaping the rewards of approx $100 million each.
Betting Odds for the fight
Looking at the odds for this fight, Conor Mcgregor is a huge underdog. The best current odds are roughly 6/1 against Conor to defeat Mayweather with a bet on Mayweather only offering roughly a 10-20% return.
One aspect that I imagine is pushing the odds to Mayweather is that Conor is a UFC mixed martial arts fighter and this time will have to conform to regular boxing rules. He didn’t seem to scared to adhere to this and his track record doesn’t leave much doubt that he will take a strong fight to the occasion.
With Mayweather being semi retired though, this surely balances the odds back a bit but the bookmakers have spoken and you can decide for yourself.
Conor Mcgregor is the peoples favorite and in recent years has earned worldwide superstar status. The bookmakers offering this price seems to make it a foregone conclusion, however this being one of the biggest and anticipated fights in history does not agree with the bookmakers odds.
Some of the vendors are offering up to 50/1 for the brawl to end in a draw. I think it’s clear enough that these two hard hitting dangerous fighters are unlikely to end up drawing the match but still a good value for an outside chance.
It makes a lot of sense to open a new account with a bookmaker to claim a sign up bonus each time you have a flutter because you potentially double your winnings.

My Bet on this Fight
So the odds have been fluctuating a bit for this. In the title is says 6/1 and that was true at the time of writing. I have gone ahead and placed a bet and I got 4/1. There are other sites that offer slightly better today such as 9/2 but its a small difference and I got a good sign up deal with Bet365 which is always something to consider.
I deposited £35 and bet it all on conor to win at 4/1 and then used the bonus to bet on the round that he would win.
I think it’s a fair bet and we will see.I also put a few outside bets on round 2 and 4 of £1 and £4
I was actually unable to use my sign up bonus in the first instance to bet on the rounds because the terms stated that I had to settle the deposit first.
However, because I asked on the chat before I made the deposit and was informed that it was fine, they cancelled the requirement and added the bonus again for me to use. So I am a happy customer but it wasn’t entirely straightforward. You can always clarify the terms on livechat first.
Total Bet £35 (plus £35 match bonus = £70)
35 for Conor Mcgregor win. (35×4)+35=£175
30 for it to happen in round 3 (30×40)+30=£1230
Total potential max cashout £1395
The deposit bonus has a 5 times wagering requirement before withdrawal. I presume that this will apply only to the actual £35 bonus, therefore it will be insignificant to the actual winnings.
I will perhaps update the status of this after the conclusion of the fight if it comes to withdrawing the winnings.
